Reposado Restaurant

Probably one of the best Mexican cuisine I have tried in Bay Area. Very nice set up environment and cosy for small or big group. Attentive waiters to assist you .. love the nachos with mashed avocado and grilled seabass liked fish. Yummy food and also they serve very special margarita too.. how to miss this ?

Wow. Fantastic restaurant. Loved the food and had a really good time here with some colleagues. Sangria was exceptional. Tuna was to die for.

Yummy food and good customer service. Lovely ambience as well. Their lam chops are the best all the desserts are yummy too. This place can get busy. Reservations are recommend.

Amazing food .. start with their colorful chips and guacamole and then move with banana chips! I have ordered the crepes filled with crab, shrimp and fish and it was awesome ! The jasmine rice was perfect with just the right amount of seasoning .. tamarind margarita was interesting and all the food items were of good portion size ! Definitely recommend

It was just another okay but overpriced Palo Alto restaurant. Couple of good apps. Entrees nothing special. Much better food at a local casual cantina.

Quite possibly the best meal we've ever had. Wait staff was attentive but not over bearing. Food and wine exceptional. This one will be our "go to" if we're back in the area again. We'll definitely recommend Reposado to anyone traveling to the Bay area.

SO UM I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THIS PLACE IS INSANE 3D GRAPHICS AND VIDEO GAME HISTORY! IT SOUNDS INSANE BUT IS TRUE! IT WAS A SECRET STAGE IN SMASH MELEE! IT WAS A REFLECTION IN TOMB RAIDER! PLEASE LOOK IT UP MY MIND IS BLOWN! Also I have gone here and the food was excellent, staff were great

The place is great, but the food was underwhelming. I had veggie enchiladas. For such an expensive menu, I had higher expectations.

Very good , higher class Mexican food ,not a taco burrito place. Service was very good, full bar, drinks were very good. Only drawback, large open table format, can be very loud, hard to hear your date. But the meal and service were very good

For the price, I think the food can be better. The drinks were good, so would suggest to definitely come here and check out their drinks menu.

Excellent margaritas. Guacamole was fresh accompanied by warm tricolor chips. The flank steak/chile relleno combo was full of flavor, tender, really good. The salmon cooked to perfection. Our waiter was awesome. I even parked 50 feet from the front door on Valentine's Day!

For vegetarian and tee totaler, not a place to venture. Ambience was good.

A lovely dinner with great service. Food was good, drinks were tasty and the wait staff was eager to create a great experience. Only complaint is that it is so loud and the tables make a terrible sound when they are moved. Not deal breakers, but may mean it isn’t the place to have a romantic night out or serious talk. ;)

Always delights, a regular favourite whenever I am in the area. Great vegetarian options and the best take on modern Mexican cuisine. Very friendly and helpful people!!

Pricey but good mexican food

Went there for dinner with a group for a friend's birthday. The food is expensive and the flavor and quality of food is worth every penny! More of a European vibe to the Mexican fare. The wait staff made the time spent there very comfortable! I would go there again for dinner!

The surprise here is breakfast! Really great regional Mexican dishes with a ton of flavor. They do a great job on presentation and it’s usually not too busy.

Dined here over 2 years ago. The food was so amazing, that I remembered the name. The best dinner experience (great food, great atmosphere and great staff) by far during my 2 week trip to California.

Great drinks and food. Atmosphere is upbeat, stylish and professional. On the pricier side but great flavor and presentation make it worth it.

Great margaritas and ceviche. Fun friendly staff. Lively atmosphere - don't bring a first date here, but get a second date by mentioning you'll take them here.

This restaurant is always packed! Ambience is really nice with their modern rustic flaire. The food is fantastic with unique and rich flavours teasing your taste buds. The meats are always so tender... melt in your mouth good. Staff were all very pleasant and attentive...always quick to refilling your water and clearing used plates from your table. I dropped a star because the tinsels on the forks were bent and the replacement one I got was also the same. It's really annoying to eat with. For being a high end restaurant, their utensils should at least be in good shape.

Tender chicken covered in decadent mole sauce with a side of crunchy veggies and a small serving of rice (which I almost always ignore but have heard from friends is quite flavorful) is what I go here for always. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you're lucky, the chef comes to your table every once in a while for a quick chat! Their crispy plantain chips are amazing too!

Really great high end Mexican restaurant. Pricey but worth it. Good variety of creative entrees. Everything I've ever tried has been fantastic. Inside is beautiful with large pieces of artwork. The staff is attentive. It can be crowded so I suggest making a reservation. Parking is available nearby on the street or in the city parking lot.

Good, upscale Mexican food. Open architecture in nice example of old (for Palo Alto) building. Suggest Pibil and chicken mole. Noisy in a good way. Food can be rather inconsistent, though.

Okay, Reposado deserves more than a 4, but it's not. 5. So, I picked a 4, and it's a bit unfair. The space is excellent and the food is very good. Very upscale on both. But, it comes at a cost. It's expensive and you can spend a bunch of pretty pennies there. Sharing several small plates is an alternative to selecting large entrees.

The food was superb. Great margaritas and the dessert was delicious too!

How wonderful place . If you like Mexican, this restaurant is most favorite in Palo Alto.

The margarita was good and the food was tasty. I got the skirt steak and it was cooked perfectly to medium. The restaurant is a little loud and at dusk the sun gets in your eyes depending on which table you're sitting at. It's a little pricey for what you get (large margarita was $20), but at least it had high quality food.

Hard to say if the food or service is better. Both are premium.Our server was excellent at judging our table, comprised of in-laws and an 11 year old and a battle for the check. She adroitly managed our order and made good recommendations. She was a professional in her element and an asset to the restaurant.The food is also great. They mix flavors well. The beat salad with slight spiced candied walnuts and goat cheese is an improved version of the classic. The marisca enchiladas are exceptional and we've gotten them on two separate visits. A highlight for us.We haven't had a poor dish or drink there yet. The prices are comensurate as economics so often dictate. So, if you are looking for a special night out, Reposado is a solid choice.

Everything was absolutely delicious! I loved the figs, and the spiced ahi tuna was a really nice twist from the usual preparations elsewhere. This was a great spot for a celebratory night out.

This Restaurant was a Background in Super Smash Bros Melee. Before Reposado there was the caffe verona.

I love Reposado. It is upscale California Mexican with a vast selection of tequila. It is fun for a meal or just drinks and appetizers.

Upscale Mexican food right in downtown Palo Alto. Guacamole is amazing! Be sure to try some of the more interesting appetizers.

Really nice restaurant and they know their flavors well. If you're someone who doesn't do cilantro, however, this will be a hard spot for you. There are very few menu items you can order that don't have it already mixed in with the other ingredients. Also even with my request for no cilantro, two dishes came out topped with it. That said, when they got it right the meal I had was delicious (eggplant over grains and the elite, both without cilantro, naturally). We also tried the stuffed dates, and while they were a tad on the smoky side for my taste, the table really enjoyed them.

Upscale Mexican food. Flavors are very good. A place to be seen in Palo Alto. The service is solid.

Trendy restaurant with very appealing dining room.Started with chips and guacamole which was delicious. Hamachi ceviche was quite nice.Crab filled crepes were yummy.Everything tasted right 😋.Since it is Palo Alto, bring your high limit credit card, as the prices are a bit dear.

Great food and great margaritas. It is an upscale unique twist on mexican food packed with flavor. Our server was great too. Excellent service. Great place to stop for some happy hour margaritas or for a nice dinner in the restaurant

This is a Mexican semi-formal fine dining place. The setup and ambience is at par with what I would expect of a triple $ restaurant. However, the food was not up to my expectations. I have been to a Mexican fine dining place called Nada in Cincinnati, OH a while back and was impressed by how refined the food was, even the humble salsa. At Reposado, there was nothing wrong with the food or portion sizes. But the dishes I ate there didn't taste any better than the Mexican staples I can get at a single $ taqueria or restaurant. One can either interpret this review as high praise for the cheap Bay area taquerias or moaning of a dissatisfied customer of Reposado.

Top of the Line Drinks with great service with food to go with it. The 4 street Tacos were great and I'm sure the rest will be as awesome. I shall be ba back for moe....

Good place for company events. Food is pretty good.

Very excellent food! Minus a star because even though we'd requested a quiet table, they put us right between 2 groups of chatterboxes. These folks talked during our entire visit, and it wasn't like anyone was being obnoxious, but there were a ton of empty tables nearby that were not occupied for the entire duration of our time there, which would have granted us the quieter meal we'd been hoping for.
